From 16 to 18 March, the MED4REGEN partnership gathered in Ioannina, Greece, for its second Technical and Steering Committee Meeting—marking a decisive step forward in the project’s journey.

Following the first in-person meeting in Venice, this milestone event signaled a clear transition from coordination to implementation. Over three days of intensive exchanges, partners from across the Mediterranean region reviewed progress across work packages and aligned on the next phases of the project.
Discussions focused on the rollout of upcoming Living Labs and pilot actions, while also strengthening connections between cultural heritage sites and their wider regional ecosystems. The meeting provided a space to refine a shared vision for regenerative and sustainable tourism, grounded in collaboration and long-term impact.
Hosted by the Region of Epirus, the gathering also created valuable links between the project’s ambitions and the local cultural and territorial context, enriching the dialogue with on-the-ground perspectives.
Bringing together partners from Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and France, MED4REGEN continues to build a dynamic Mediterranean network committed to driving cultural transformation and shaping the future of sustainable tourism.
